The Georgia State track and field team continued their success in the distance events with a victory in the 3,000m steeplechase and four second-place finishes in other events at the UCF Invite on Friday and Saturday at the UCF Soccer and Track Complex.

ATLANTA — Georgia State track and field heads to Orlando, Fla. to compete in the UCF Invite on March 22-23. The meet will be held at the UCF Soccer and Track Complex.

Victories in the women's 3,000m and 3,000m steeplechase highlighted the season-opening competition for the Georgia State track and field team at the UGA Relays on March 15-16 at the Spec Towns Track.

ATLANTA — After a record-breaking 2013 indoor season, the Georgia State track and field team will start the outdoor season at the UGA Relays in Athens, Ga. on March 15-16.

JONESBORO, Ark. — The Georgia State women's track and field team tied for seventh place out of 12 teams in the 2013 Sun Belt Indoor Championships held Feb. 24-25 at the Arkansas State Convocation Center.

For the first time in school history, the Georgia State track team will compete in an indoor conference championship in the Sun Belt Indoor Track Championship on Feb. 24-25 in Jonesboro, Ark.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Katharine Showalter and Kesean Henderson both set new indoor track and field school records to highlight competition for Georgia State at the Samford Invite on Saturday.

ATLANTA — For the second time during the indoor season, the Georgia State track and field team will compete at the Birmingham CrossPlex, this time for the Samford Invite on Feb. 8-9.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — For the third competition in a row, Kesean Henderson set a new school record for the women's indoor weight throw, this time at the Middle Tennessee State Invite on Saturday.

ATLANTA — After a week off from competition, the Georgia State track and field team returns to action at the Middle Tennessee State Invite in Murfreesboro, Tenn. on Feb. 2.
